We’re kicking off our celebrations with a colouring competition, so get your colouring pencils at the ready, set, go!
Who can enter?
The competition is open to all children aged 16 and under from South Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas and is split into three age categories:
- 5 and under
- 6 – 10 years
- 11 – 16 years
We will choose a winner from each category who will receive a prize of £15 John Lewis & Partners voucher. Entries can be drawings, paintings, collages, the more creative the better – anything goes but they must use the Foster South Glos template!
How to enter?
To enter all you need to do is download and print our ‘Foster the Bear’ colouring sheet (or pick up a colouring sheet from ‘The Place to Eat’ John Lewis & Partners, The Mall Cribbs Causeway).
When your child’s masterpiece is ready simply take a photo of it and email it to foster@southglos.gov.uk by Sunday 26th May 2024 to enter the prize draw. Please title your email: Foster Bear Comp. Don’t forget to include your child’s age, name and telephone number when you submit your entry. Only one entry per child is permitted.

Once you’ve entered your sheet online, you can also hand it to Customer Services on the 2nd Floor, John Lewis & Partners, The Mall, Cribbs Causeway to display on their wall. The competition is open for entries from 9am Monday 13th May 2024 until 5pm on Sunday 26th May 2024.
Who are the judges?
Entries will be judged by a panel that include Aimee Williams (Service Manager for Fostering and WAYPOINT) and Carol Small (Partner & Community Liaison Co-ordinator).
We accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, mislaid or damaged in transit, regardless of the cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of submitting an entry is not proof of receipt.
