Afternoon Tea at John Lewis & Partners, Cribbs Causeway

As part of Foster Care Fortnight 2025, South Gloucestershire Council proudly celebrated the incredible dedication of our foster carers with a special Afternoon Tea hosted by John Lewis & Partners at Cribbs Causeway.

The Power of Fostering

Foster carers play a vital role in transforming lives. They provide safe, loving homes for children and young people who need them most. Their care and commitment leave a lasting impact on the futures of those they support.

Foster Care Fortnight is a national campaign that shines a light on the life-changing power of fostering. This year’s theme, ‘The Power of Relationships’, highlights how strong, supportive connections help children thrive.

A special thank you at John Lewis & Partners

On Wednesday 14 May, foster carers from across South Gloucestershire were welcomed to an Afternoon Tea at The Place to Eat in John Lewis & Partners, Cribbs Causeway. The event recognised their unwavering commitment and celebrated the bonds they build with the children in their care.
