As a South Glos Council foster carer, you will:
- Receive a generous weekly fee and child maintenance allowance to cover childcare costs.
- Receive an annual allowance package of up to £2,500 to support birthdays, holidays, and religious festivals.
- Access a wide support network including a foster carer ‘buddy’, a supervising social worker, monthly coffee mornings, and after-hours support on evenings and weekends.
- Join Mockingbird, a support network for foster families aiming to create an extended family-like support model.
- Have access to our in-house therapeutic team WAYPOINT who offer a variety of trauma-informed and therapeutic support
- Have access to over 200 training courses to develop your skills and knowledge to help you grow in your fostering role.
